
Sit in Dandasana on a brick two or three inches high. Flex the right knee and place the foot near the groin with the knee above the foot. Place the hands on the knee to gain leverage to lift the back and tuck in at the lumbar spine. Rotate the trunk to the right placing the left elbow against the outside of the right knee. Place the right hand on the floor behind using it to help lift the spine. Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and repeat on the other side.
